2. Essential Storage (Always Active)

These are required for the site's core functionality and don't require consent, since they don't track you or collect personal data for any other purpose.

• merchcrate-cookie-consent — remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, so we don't ask again on every visit. Stored until you clear your browser data.
• merchcrate_cart — stores the contents of your shopping cart locally in your browser so items persist as you browse. Stored until you place an order or clear your browser data. Never sent to our servers until you submit an order.

3. Analytics (Optional, Requires Consent)

We may use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 sets cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) that can persist for up to 2 years. These only load if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner — if you reject or don't respond, they never load. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, which will show the banner again on your next visit.

As of the date above, GA4 is not yet active on this site. This section will be updated once it is.

4. Cloudflare Web Analytics

We may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool that does not use cookies or collect personal data — it's exempt from cookie consent requirements for that reason. It's used only to see aggregate traffic patterns (e.g. page views, load times) and cannot identify you individually.
